８歳の時に観たインド映画『ムトゥ踊るマハラジャ』に衝撃を受け、南北インド及び南アジア諸国のフィルム・ダンスと南インド古典舞踊バラタナティヤムを野火杏子氏に師事。その後、野火氏の師匠であるウマ・ラオ氏に師事し、２０１０年アランゲトラム公演（一人前の舞踊家としてのデビュー公演）を行う。２０１２年独立。２０１６年からへマント・デヴァラ氏に北インド古典舞踊カタックとボリウッド・ダンスを師事。ダンス修行のため、渡印を重ねている。２０１８年7月、ボリウッドの大女優でダンスの名手としても知られるマードゥリー・ディークシットのオンライン番組『ダンス・ウィズ・マードゥリー』の撮影に関わる。
迫力あるダンスと古典舞踊で培われた豊かな感情表現には定評があり、国内の他、インド、香港でも各種イベントやダンス・ショーに出演。ステージの有無に関わらず、飲食店やプライベート・パーティーでの出演など、場所を選ばない適応性も強み。クラシカルな要素を取り入れた曲から、妖艶な曲、そしてコミカルな曲まで、幅広いレパートリーを持ち、その一度見たら忘れられないダンス、ルックス、キャラクターで観客を虜にしている。
ダンス・インストラクターとしても活躍中。Angela Raga School of Indian Danceを主宰し、東京（原宿）、神奈川（横浜、逗子）、大阪でボリウッド・ダンスの指導をしている。また、独学で習得したボリウッド風舞台メイクや、ウマ・ラオ氏直伝の南インド古典舞踊ヘア・メイクの指導も行っている。ダンス、メイク、顔の表情の作り方などのワークショップは、各地で人気。

Struck by the Indian film “Muthu” at age eight, Angela studied Indian film dance and also south Indian classical dance, Bharatanatyam, under Ms. Kyoko Nobi. In 2010, she further studied Bharatanatyam under Ms.Nobi’s teacher, Guru Uma Rao, and performed Arangetram. In November 2012, Angela became independent as a professional Bollywood dancer and Bharatanatyam dancer. Since 2016, Angela has been studying north Indian classical dance, Kathak, and Bollywood dance under Mr. Hemant Devara. She has been visiting India for dance training. In July 2018, Angela took a part in a shooting of Madhuri Dixit’s online TV program “Dance with Madhuri”.
Angela is known for her powerful dance performance and rich expressions acquired through Indian classical dances. She actively performs in various events and in dance shows, not only in Japan, but also India and Hong Kong. Her adaptability is one of her strengths – from an event with a big stage to a restaurant or a private party, she is not choosy of venue. Her wide range of repertoire goes from semi-classical to sexy to comical dance items. Her unforgettable dance, looks, and character continue to win the hearts of audience each time.
Angela is also a sought-after dance instructor. She represents Angela Raga School of Indian Dance and holds regular dance classes in Tokyo (Harajuku), Kanagawa (Yokohama and Zushi), and Osaka. Angela also instructs Bollywood-style stage makeup that she has taught herself and South Indian classical dance hair and makeup that she learned directly from Guru Uma Rao. Her workshops on dance, make-up, and facial expressions are popular wherever they are held.”
